Mandheling:The Depth of Aceh Gayo
This coffee is grown in the Aceh Gayo highlands of Sumatra, near Lake Tawar — a region shaped by volcanic soil and dramatic temperature swings between day and night. These conditions slow the growth of the coffee cherry, building density and flavour at altitudes of 1,200 to 1,500 meters.
The beans are processed using the wet-hulled method, a tradition unique to Sumatra. It strips the parchment while the bean is still moist, creating the region's signature full body and earthy depth — a profile you won't find anywhere else in the world.
In the cup: dark chocolate, mild spice, clean herbal undertones. Grounded and warm, with a finish that stays.
FAQs
View allHow many drip coffee bags are there in one box?
Each box contains eight single-use drip coffee bags, with 10g of pre-ground coffee in each bag—perfect for home brewers, travellers, or anyone wanting premium quality coffee on the go.
For those looking to explore, we also offer a tasting pack with five single-use bags.
How should I store my coffee?
Each of our drip coffee bag is flushed with nitrogen right after the beans are ground to conserve the freshness and flavour intensity. Please store your coffee at room temperature, somewhere dark to avoid direct sunlight, and dry like a kitchen cupboard.
What brew methods do you recommend?
This depends entirely on your personal preferences. We recommend filter methods as it's a great way to explore speciality coffee. Our drip coffee bags can simply be used with or without coffee equipment.
