Postcard from Hong Kong — where East meets West

Few cities compare to Hong Kong - a place where East meets West and where the old peacefully coexists with the new. It has an energy that can feel intimidating if it’s your first visit. However, once you start wandering the ascending streets of Central, you will discover many peaceful alleys and nooks, restaurants and cafes, and you will quickly understand why so many people live in or visit Hong Kong.

Our trip started at a familiar place in Mid-Levels, at the foot of the Victoria Peak. It’s a modest hotel that offers breathtaking views of Central, Victoria Harbour and Kowloon in the distance. We couldn’t help but brew a coffee, sit down and enjoy the scenery before we headed out to explore.

Hong Kong is a place that changes quickly, with each visit offering something new to do or to see.

But the Hong Kong we all love, with its famous neon lights, late night restaurants and eclectic markets is still there - welcoming those who want to experience something unlike anywhere else.
